Homage

If you've read Robert Terrall's Kill Now, Pay Later, then you know the basic premise: PI Ben Gates is hired by a rich family to guard the fancy presents at a high-dollar wedding. Someone drugs his coffee, and not only is money stolen but murder is committed as well. He spends the rest of the book re-habbing his reputation and uncovering the mystery. If you've read my latest MATT CADD mini-saga, you'll note I've "borrowed" the plot line. I like to think of it as an homage. Check out this review of the novel. Mr. Terrall is still alive--93 years old!
